What is XReality Academy?
XReality Academy is an online education platform that offers approachable XR education for newbies and pros looking to design engaging metaverse experiences. We offer flexible, 100% remote classes so you can learn at your own pace. Our classes are fit for anyone looking to pursue a career in XR or anyone simply interested in learning new skills.
What is included in a XReality Academy membership?
We offer three types of membership: basic, standard, and premium. At only $5 a month, the basic membership gives you access to sample classes to learn the foundations of XR. At $79 a month, the standard membership gives you access to enroll in one class a month. At $199 a month, the premium membership gives you access to all classes and the opportunity to work on hands-on XR projects and complete certifications. Both the standard and premium memberships allow access to our private discord community and the ability to schedule 1-1 mentorship sessions with our XR leaders for career and industry advice. All memberships have access to the XR news and our student community.
Which classes are right for me?
We offer beginner-level classes for those who are brand new to XR to explore basic concepts and the foundations of VR/AR development. For those who have some experience in coding or design, our intermediate-level classes can help you advance your skills. Lastly, we offer advanced-level classes for those already proficient in XR development and looking to challenge themselves with a portfolio-ready project.
How does 1-1 mentorship work?
Mentor credits are available for purchase for $50 a credit. One credit allows you to book one 30-minute session. You also have the option to use two credits to book a one-hour session. You will have access to browse our full catalog of mentors and select one that fits your needs based their experience and expertise. You are free to book different mentors or you can choose to book wtih the same mentor. You can book a session directly on our platform at a time that works best for the both of you. All sessions are conducted remotely via teleconference.
How do I cancel?
XReality Academy offers month-to-month payment plans so you don’t need to worry about commitment. We highly encourage you to reach out to us if you’re unsatisfed with your membership benefits or the course content. If for whatever reason you need to cancel, you can access your profile settings to cancel your subscription.
